PROJECT OVERVIEW

For my project, I volunteered in the Health and Performance Center at Dixie Regional Medical Center. I went through the required background check, medical history, and paperwork to become a volunteer. Because I am interested in becoming an occupational therapist, I worked mostly with current occupational therapists in hand therapy, neurology rehabilitation, and pediatrics. As a volunteer, I also assisted in keeping the flow of the respective clinic. Overall, this was a positive experience and exposure to occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
