REFLECTION
By doing this project I learned about the importance of service and being a leader. I learned that I like to lead by being involved with people, right in the action. To me, this is the most effective way to help people, to do things with them encouraging them along the way. These are important skills to have in occupational therapy, as people often need extra support in their recovery. Patience is something I was surprised to learn to be a very important part of helping people in this field. Therapy is not a one-time fix but a slow steady improvement. I really enjoyed interacting with the patients and healthcare providers through this experience
